World No 1 Novak Djokovic and nine time French Open champion Rafael Nadal will promote Thailand as a tourist destination in a daylong activity that will include shopping at OTOP and visiting the Prime Minister's Office during their Bangkok exhibition next month.
US Open champion Djokovic and Nadal will be in the capital on October 1 and 2 for the "Back to Thailand Nadal vs Djokovic" exhibition. The soldout friendly will be played on October 2 at the Hua Mark Indoor Stadium.

Lawn Tennis Association president Suwat Liptapanlop said the presence of the two players will give a welcome boost to local tourism in the aftermath of Erawan Shrine bombing.

"Both players will go shopping at the One Tambon One Product (OTOP) hall in the afternoon of October 1 and they will meet PM Prayut Chanocha at Government House at 11am on October 2," said Suwat.

The Serb is due to arrive in Thailand on October 1 from Zurich at 9.30am along with a three-member entourage. Nadal is to touch down on the same day from Spain, also with a three-strong team , including coach and uncle Toni.

Both will hold a press conference at 2.30pm at the JP Marriot Hotel, where they will be staying. The following day, both will have a practice session at the stadium.

Prior to the DjokovicNadal match, a special mixed doubles exhibition match will serve as an official farewell event for Danai Udomchoke (professional tennis player from Thailand). Danai will pair with Noppawan Lertcheewakarn to play Paradorn Srichaphan and Tamarine Tanasugarn in a bestofninegame format.

The event will be broadcast live on True Vision's True4U (Channel 4 on True Vision, Ch 34 on satellite, and Ch 34 on cable), True Tennis HD (Ch 670), or True Anywhere App from 8.30pm.

Suwat says all 6,500 seats have been sold but the organisers are planning to add more to meet demand from ten

Первая ракетка мира Новак Джокович и, девятикратный чемпион Открытого чемпионата Франции, Рафаэль Надаль, помогут привлечь туристов в Таиланд, во время посещения страны, которое будет включать в себя шоппинг в OTOP и посещение премьер-министра во время их выставочного матча в Бангкоке, в следующем месяце.

Президент Ассоциации тенниса Суват Липтапанлоп заявил, что присутствие двух игроков даст толчок к повышению туризма после бомбардировки Erawan Shrine .

"Оба игрока пройдут по магазинам в One Tambon One Product (ОТОП) во второй половине дня, 1 октября, и  встретятся премьер-министром  Prayut Chanocha в Доме правительства в 11 часов утра, 2 октября," сказал Суват.

Серб должен прибыть в Таиланд 1 октября из Цюриха в 9.30 в окружении трех членов команды. Надаль прилетит в тот же день из Испании, также с тремя сопровождающими, в том числе с тренером и дядей Тони.

Пресс-конференция состоится в 14:30  в JP Marriot Hotel, где и будут проживать теннисисты. На следующий день, пройдёт тренировка на стадионе.

Перед матчем Джоковича и Надаля, будет проведён специальный выставочный матч, который послужит в качестве официального прощания с Данай  Удомчоке (таиландский профессиональный теннисист).
