Toni Nadal in an interview to Swiss TV:
"Last week we could not practice like we normally do because of the appendix. That's why we try to get in more practice now."
"Rafa feels good, but needs matches. Played only 2 tournaments since Wimby. With a bit of luck at the draw he can do well in Basel."
"Rafa is painfree. The appendix was bothering him in Shanghai but not anymore. He needs surgery but we need to find the right time."
