Rafael Nadal received the Golden Music Award for his sporting achievements and contributions off the court at the LOS40 Music Awards 2021.
The event took place on 12 November in Palma de Mallorca.

Rafa's speech: "Thank you very much... Good evening everybody! For me it's a real pleasure receiving this award for which I'm very thankful to 'Los 40' for thinking I was the right person [for it], even though it belongs to a field which is not mine.
Thanks so much to 'Los 40' for thinking of me. I'm very excited for it, especially for receiving it at home, in Mallorca. Honestly, besides receiving the award what really thrills me is to be able to live again nights like tonight, share such a very special night with all of you, attend live performances of so many artist who I admire a lot & usually can only listen to them or watching them on TV. After 2 extremely tough years for all of us, being able to enjoy a night like this is the nicest thing that could happen to us.
I want to thank 'Los 40' for having chosen our home, Mallorca, to hold such a lovely night. Thank you very much and a big hug to everybody. Congrats to the rest of awardees. Thanks!"
