RAFAEL NADAL KING OF TENNIS

Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, David Ferrer, Tomas Berdych and QTF President Nasser Al Khelaifi attended the annual Gala Dinner of ExxonMobil Qatar Open 2016 in Doha. 

ExxonMobil Qatar and the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) jointly hosted a gala dinner earlier this week to launch the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016. 

The event was attended by Qatar's key business and community leaders, in addition to several of the tennis players competing in this tournament such as stars World no. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and Thomas Berdych.

The event included a full entertainment programme of intriguing dance and magic performances. Novak Djokovic took part in a magic show with world-famous English magician Drummond Money-Coutts (DMC), to the excitement of guests. 

QTF president Nasser al Khelaifi and ExxonMobil Qatar President and General Manager Alistair Routledge welcomed the guests, highlighting the strong partnership their respective organisations share.

"It is an honour to welcome you all to this gala dinner to celebrate the launch of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2016," said Routledge. 

"We celebrate 22 years of partnership with the Qatar Tennis Federation and the start of another exciting tournament. It is always a pleasure to host our valued guests in Doha for this occasion, and to showcase Qatar as a destination for hosting world-class sporting events."

Qatar ExxonMobil Open Director Karim Alami said:"This dinner has always been a highlight for the players coming to the tournament; we can say that it's an opportunity to welcome the tennis stars in an elegant way!"
