"The rivalry is evolving," Nadal told La Gazzetta dello Sport over his competition with the Swiss. "Now, it feels different to me compared to before. When I look at it now, I feel calm, but when I was younger, there was an intense rivalry on the court. Roger and I are happy with the careers we've had and we think positively about continuing to play tennis."

"Novak has 17, we'll see what happens," Nadal continued. "It's not an obsession for me. I always follow my own path and I'm happy with my career. My happiness isn't going to be different if I overtake Roger or not. I'll keep doing my job and I'll keep playing tennis well and [being happy]. My future is in my academy and my foundation. They're my personal projects and they're for the future, but I haven't thought about retirement."

"It's been a terrible situation for the world in general," he continued. "The world has changed in every aspect. People are suffering a lot. Tennis hasn't been in my mind in the last few months." (via Marca English)
